Excel: Other

This covers the other features in the Quill tab in Excel.

  • Toggle selected links: Toggles hyperlinks for selected cells.
  • Toggle all links: Toggles hyperlinks for all cells in the sheet.
  • Prune links: Removes all unused metadata from the sheet. If you notice your file is getting slow, this might fix it.
  • Hardcode links: Converts all Quill links to hyperlinks, so you can share the file with others who don't have Quill. You cannot undo this.
  • Recalculate formulas: Recalculates all formulas in the sheet. This is useful if you see #VALUE! errors.

Generate Formula​

Generates a Capital IQ formula for the selected cell. You can only use this if you have a the Capital IQ Excel Addin installed and active.
