Excel: Verify

Verify allows you to quickly see the source of any number in your model (as long as the number was generated using Quill).

To use, navigate to the Quill tab in Excel. Select the cell you wish to verify and click Verify.

Next figure jumps to the next line item with a value. This allows you to verify values in quick succession.

Mark resolved removes any highlights and status indicators from the cell. Use this when you have resolved a value

Save value / source allows you to edit the value or source of the cell.

Open in browser opens the original filing in your default browser.

The Selected cell information box in the top right shows you what Quill expected the value to be. You can quickly cross reference this with the original document. If the period, label, and value match, you can be confident that the value is correct.
